Chicago Board of Trade (CBoT)'s decision regarding its new
electronic platform spurred a flurry of debate, last minute
dealing and rumours last week, with sources indicating a split
between the exchange's board and executive committee.
Sources close to the CBoT board of directors said Liffe
Connect was the clear choice of the board, especially after
receiving the endorsement from CSC, the technical advisory firm
hired by the exchange.
